Camp Warringal

Camp Warringal is available for hire to Scout and non-Scout groups.  The facilities have been developed to make the camp ideal for Family and Church Group activities, Patrol camps, Pack holidays, PL training, Jamborees of the Air and nature walks.

Location
Camp Warringal is situated adjacent to Mount Disappointment State Forest, approximately 70 minutes from the Melbourne GPO. The Camp is set on 20 acres of natural bushland with Crystal Creek on the SW border.

Accommodation
Numerous sites for camping.
Sleeping accommodation consisting of:
  • Two bunk rooms with 14 beds and mattresses each. (Blankets and pillows not provided.)
  • Leaders hut accommodating 12 people.
  • A toilet and shower block with Gas fired water heater.

Facilities
  • The kitchen/dining building has a fully equipped modern kitchen with 2 gas stoves, an urn, a pie-warmer, 2 refrigerators, gas HWS, 2 double sinks and ample bench space. There is enough crockery and cutlery for parties up to 48 people.
  • The dining room also seats 48 and has a slow combustion space heater for comfortable dining.

  • 2x Covered shelters with large BBQs, power and water

  • Non-denominational chapel in a bush setting, ideal for Scouts Own or quiet personal meditation
